The proposed Energy Transition Mechanism Partnership Trust Fund to be established under the Clean Energy Financing Partnership Facility will be a multiple-partner trust fund to mobilize resources for the energy transition mechanism.
The Energy Transition Mechanism Partnership Trust Fund (ETMPTF) will be aligned with the objective of the Clean Energy Financing Partnership Facility (CEFPF) by spurring demand for clean energy investments with the early retirement of coal-fired power plants and by supporting an enabling environment to increase clean energy use and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
